Who does this privacy policy apply to?
This privacy and data policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies and has effect in respect to every user of our related software Shardfall: FitQuest VR.

What Data do you collect?
We collect and process the following personal data from you when you use the application Shardfall: FitQuest VR.
- Information about your in-app activities (“Analytics”): We collect information about your use of Shardfall: FitQuest VR using analytics technologies. All collected personal data is anonymised so that it can no longer be associated with you.
- Personal data we collect via this process are:
- Device country & language.
- Device type.
- Session start, duration and end timings.
- Time and date of your game download and game events.
- Game progression data: score, gear level, world level.
- Profile workout data: history and ‘calorie burn’ data (which is an estimate provided by Shardfall: FitQuest VR and not collected from a medical device).
- Game events: related to specific elements of game usage and workout sessions such as your completion of a game level and specific events such as completing a tutorial or selecting a specific game mode.

System and device settings data: manufacturer, model and OS of your device. Device settings such as screen resolution. Game settings such as graphics quality.
Information that may be provided by you when you contact us for support (“Contact Information”): (i) your name; (ii) your email address; (iii) your social media handles.
How do you use my data?
- To respond to your support requests.
- When you contact us either by phone, email, via our 'contact us' page or via social media, we may collect your Contact Information, because it’s in our legitimate interest to make sure we can properly respond to your query.
- To better engage our users.
- We may process Collected Information to encourage engagement in Shardfall: FitQuest VR from our users and to notify them of new game features, virtual items or other promotions on offer,
- To help us improve Shardfall: FitQuest VR.
- We may process Analytics so we can analyse and improve our software product Shardfall: FitQuest VR. This processing is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interests, being our commercial interests of: (i) ensuring that Shardfall:FitQuest VR functions properly for users; (ii) improving the quality of Shardfall:FitQuest VR for users (iii) and identifying and fixing any bugs or problems with Shardfall:FitQuest VR.
- To help us to understand usage of Shardfall:FitQuest VR.
- We may process Analytics so we can analyse and improve our software product Shardfall: FitQuest VR. We may process information to create reports regarding user in-game activity. This process is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interests, being our commercial interests in continually improving Shardfall:FitQuest VR.
- To buyers if our business is sold.
- We will process your Contact Information and Analytics for this purpose because we have a legitimate interest to ensure our business can be continued by the buyer. If you object to our use of your personal information in this way, the buyer of our business may not be able to provide services to you.
Who do you share my data with?
- Business partners, suppliers and subcontractors for the performance of the contract we enter into with them or you. We keep your information confidential, but may disclose it to our personnel, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. However, this is on the basis that they do not make independent use of the information, and have agreed to safeguard it.

Where do you store my data?
We store your data on third party servers which are based both in the UK and outside of the UK.
When working with third parties we may need to transfer your personal data outside of the UK and / or EU.
Whenever we transfer your personal information outside of the UK or the EU to a country that has not received an adequacy decision from the relevant regulator, we ensure it receives additional protection as required by UK and EU law, such as requiring compliance with the relevant SCCs. How long do you keep my data for?
We will only retain your personal information for as long as we need it unless we are required to keep it for longer to comply with our legal, accounting or regulatory requirements.
We delete all Contact Information 6 years after your last support ticket was raised with us.
For Analytics all personal data is anonymised so that it can no longer be associated with you, and we may use this anonymised information indefinitely without notifying you. We use this anonymised information to improve the way we work and our services.
What are my rights under data protection law?
You have various other rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to:
- access your personal data (also known as a “subject access request”);
- correct incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you;
- ask us to erase the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to restrict our handling of your personal data;
- ask us to transfer your personal data to a third party;
- object to how we are using your personal data; and
- withdraw your consent to us handling your personal data.

How do I make a request about my stored data?
If you wish to have your stored data deleted at any time before the auto-deletion that occurs 6 years after the last support ticket for you was raised with us - please contact us at any time at support@playquell.com. We will delete your stored data upon request and provide written confirmation.
